Our Story

Tao Kroesche, women's and girls' self-leadership coach, facilitator, feminist author and artist, holistic healer, Surf Coast, Victoria, Torquay, Australia

The She Rebellion is a creative leadership company founded by Tao Kroesche, delivering workshops, talks, programs, and facilitated experiences that support women and girls to build confidence, trust their voice, and lead with courage and intention.

Our work challenges outdated ideas of leadership that prioritise performance, perfection, hierarchy, and conformity. Instead, we champion a new wave of leadership grounded in self-awareness, courageous expression, creativity, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and purposeful action.

Because leadership is not just about titles or authority.

It is about how we think, communicate, create, advocate for ourselves and others, navigate challenges, and show up in our communities and lives.

At The She Rebellion, we believe women and girls are already capable leaders. The work is creating spaces that help them reconnect with that truth.

Through creative practice, facilitated conversation, storytelling and experiential learning, we deliver engaging and meaningful experiences that support women and girls to take up space, express themselves more fully, and develop the confidence to lead in ways that feel authentic and sustainable.

  • Tao Kroesche is a multi-award-nominated Self-Leadership Coach, Facilitator, Feminist author and artist.

She is also a down to earth chai-drinking, rock music-blasting, tattoo-collecting, oracle card-slinging, nap-seeking, chocolate ice cream connoisseur.

Tao is a proud Neuro-Spicy Ambivert Scorpio with a bushranger lineage, a feminist/anti-establishment upbringing, and German/Scottish/Irish heritage.

She has spent decades learning and growing through her past challenges with anxiety, depression and PND.

These days, she’s soaking up the sunshine by the beach with her spirited family who keeps her grounded.

Big ideas, real impact.

Here, creativity meets legacy. Whatever you're building, we're here to help you take the first step with confidence.

Let’s create something meaningful together.

  • We partner with schools, councils, organisations, community groups, and events to deliver workshops, keynote talks, leadership programs, and creative experiences that support the next generation of leadership in women and girls.

Our work combines self-leadership, creativity, communication, confidence-building, emotional awareness, and intentional action in ways that are practical, engaging, and deeply human.

This is not leadership taught through pressure, perfectionism, or performance.

It is leadership taught through participation, expression, reflection, creativity, connection, and lived experience.

Using creative pathways such as art, craft, storytelling, discussion, and collaborative learning, we create spaces where women and girls can explore identity, voice, boundaries, self-trust, and purposeful action in accessible and meaningful ways.

The result of a holistic approach to self-leadership is work that extends beyond the workshop room — influencing classrooms, workplaces, homes, communities, and future leadership pathways.

It happens through expression, experience, and action.
